Spring plant sale

April 5th & 6th

We will also be offering Farm Tours the weekend of our Plant Sale for those who are interested in learning more about our operation. Tours will take place at 11am and 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday, April 5 and 6th.

Boone Fox Farm in many ways was born from a love of gardening. There is nothing like a homegrown tomato or seeing a butterflies dancing through your flowers! This year we are offering a selection of some of our FAVORITE summer garden vegetables and a curated selection of annual & perennial flowers!

We will again be offering Online Pre-Orders for our plant sale, in addition to having the greenhouse open for in-person shopping April 5th and 6th.

Pre-Orders will go live on Wednesday, March 12th at 9am and will close at the end of day on March 28th. Pre-Orders can be picked up the weekend of our in person plant sale, the Friday before, or the Monday after.

For those who pre-ordered for the 2024 Plant Sale — we learned a lot last year for our first in person plant sale, and will be taking steps to make your pick up process more efficient! Thanks for your patience as our plant sale grows (in many ways because of your support)!

All items listed below are for our customers to PRE-ORDER or PREVIEW. These are the same plants we will have for the weekend of our in person Plant Sale unless our pre-order customers sell them out.

Below are some details for you to know about PRE-ORDERS:

• Plant pot size will indicated for each item; most of the veggies will be in 3”-3.5” pots, tomatoes in 4” pots; flowers will vary between multiple cell packs, 3” pots, etc.

• Once you select your plant and quantity, you will add to your cart. To complete your purchase, you must fill out payment information through the website’s “cart” (top right of screen)

• Pick ups will be at our greenhouse on the City Roots property, 1005 Airport Blvd, Columbia, SC on April 5-6 during our Plant Sale hours, or the Friday before or Monday after.

• Everyone who pre-orders plants from BFF will receive a Gardening Guide - this will have helpful how to’s and tips we have learned over the years so that you can have a successful garden! The 2025 Gardening Guide will have updated information as our own knowledge grows for tackling challenges in the garden due to our changing climate, updates on suppliers for fertilizer and compost in town, etc.

• You will receive an email reminder the week of your pick up.
